How to Use the Deadlift Calculator
- Enter the weight you lifted in the "Weight Lifted" field. Use either kilograms (kg) or pounds (lbs) – the calculator works with both.
- Enter the number of reps you performed with that weight (between 1 and 30).
- Click "Calculate 1RM" to estimate your one-rep max.
- Read your result – the estimated 1RM appears in the same unit you entered (kg or lbs). The calculation uses an average of the Epley and Brzycki formulas for accuracy.
Tip: Use a weight you can lift for at least 1 rep but no more than 30 reps for the most reliable estimate.

Frequently Asked Questions
One-rep max (1RM) is the maximum weight you can lift for a single repetition of an exercise.
We use the Epley and Brzycki formulas and average them for a more accurate estimate.
It provides a reasonable estimate, but actual 1RM may vary based on individual factors. Always warm up properly and use a spotter when testing max lifts.
