How to Use the Wheel Fitment Calculator
This tool compares your current wheel setup with a new one to check clearance and fitment. All inputs are required except tire specs (optional).
- Step 1: Enter your Current Setup – wheel width (inches) and offset (mm).
- Step 2: Enter your New Setup – wheel width (inches) and offset (mm).
- Step 3 (Optional): Add tire width (mm) and aspect ratio (%) to estimate tire diameter.
- Step 4: Click Calculate Fitment.
Results explained:
- Backspacing = distance from mounting surface to inner wheel edge (in inches).
- Frontspacing = distance from mounting surface to outer wheel edge.
- Inner clearance difference = how much more (positive) or less (negative) room you have inside.
- Outer position difference = how much further out (positive) or in (negative) the wheel sits.
- If tire specs are provided, approximate tire diameter is shown (assumes 18" rim).
Use positive offset for inward mounting, negative for outward. All values must be non-negative.

Frequently Asked Questions
Wheel offset is the distance from the wheel's mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel. Positive offset means the mounting surface is closer to the outside of the wheel, while negative offset means it is closer to the inside.
Backspacing is the distance from the mounting surface to the back edge of the wheel. It determines how much clearance the wheel has from suspension components.
Use this calculator to compare the backspacing and frontspacing of your current and new wheels. The inner clearance difference shows how much more or less space you have on the inside, and the outer position difference shows how much the wheel will stick out.
