How to use this tool?
How to Use the OSRS Magic Calculator
- Select a Spell: Choose a spell from the dropdown list (e.g., Fire Strike, High Alchemy). Each spell has a fixed XP per cast and cost (currently all costs are 0 GP).
- Enter Casts: Input the number of times you will cast the spell (minimum 1).
- Calculate: Click the Calculate button to see results.
- Read Results:
- Total Experience = XP per cast × number of casts (displayed in green).
- Total Cost = Cost per cast × number of casts (displayed in gold; currently 0 GP for all spells).
- XP per cast and Cost per cast are shown below for reference.
- Errors: If you forget to select a spell or enter an invalid number, a red error message will appear.
Note: All costs are set to 0 GP in this version. The calculator uses standard OSRS magic XP rates.

Frequently Asked Questions
It calculates the total experience and cost (in GP) for casting a selected spell a given number of times in Old School RuneScape.
Currently, it only includes base XP values; rune costs are not included as they vary based on market prices. You can manually add rune cost if desired.
It includes common combat spells, High Level Alchemy, and Superheat Item. More spells may be added in future updates.
