How to use this tool?
This calculator computes your total bowling score based on standard rules. Enter the number of pins knocked down in each roll for all 10 frames.
How to Use:- Frames 1-9: Enter two rolls per frame (0-10 pins each). The sum of the two rolls cannot exceed 10 unless the first roll is a strike (10).
- Frame 10: Enter up to three rolls. A third roll is required if you get a strike or spare in the first two rolls. Otherwise, leave the third roll empty.
- Click "Calculate Score" to see your total score and a breakdown per frame.
- Strike: 10 pins on first roll. Score = 10 + next two rolls.
- Spare: 10 pins in two rolls. Score = 10 + next roll.
- Open frame: Less than 10 pins in two rolls. Score = sum of the two rolls.
All inputs must be whole numbers between 0 and 10. Invalid entries will show an error message.

A strike (knocking down all 10 pins on the first roll) scores 10 plus the total of your next two rolls.
A spare (knocking down all 10 pins with two rolls) scores 10 plus the number of pins knocked down on your next roll.
If you get a strike or spare in the 10th frame, you get extra rolls: one extra for a spare, two extra for a strike, to determine the bonus.
