How to Use the Uma Affinity Calculator
This tool calculates an affinity score between two entities based on their scores (0–100) and adjustable weights. Follow these steps:
- Enter Entity Scores – Input a number between 0 and 100 for Entity 1 and Entity 2. Invalid entries will show an error.
- Adjust Weights – Use the sliders to set the importance (0.0 to 1.0) of each entity. The displayed value updates in real time.
- Calculate – Click the Calculate Affinity button. The result appears below.
- Interpret the Result – The affinity score is a weighted average (see formula). Interpretation levels:
- ≥80%: High affinity
- 60–79%: Moderate affinity
- 40–59%: Low affinity
- <40%: Very low affinity
Note: Both weights cannot be zero simultaneously. Scores must be integers or decimals within 0–100.
