It uses the official OSRS XP table to calculate the experience needed between your current and target Prayer level. Then it divides by the XP per bone (adjusted for account type) to determine bones required.
Yes, you can select 'Ironman' from the account type dropdown, which halves the XP per bone (since ironmen cannot use the Chaos Altar bonus).
We support Bones, Big Bones, Baby Dragon Bones, Dragon Bones, Wyvern Bones, and Superior Dragon Bones. Each has a different XP value.
The cost is based on the bone price you enter. It multiplies the number of bones needed by the price per bone. You should check current Grand Exchange prices.
