How to Use the CP Calculator (Pokémon GO)
- Enter Base Stats: Input the Pokémon’s base Attack, Defense, and Stamina (e.g., from Pokédex). These are fixed per species.
- Enter IVs: Input the Individual Values (0–15) for Attack, Defense, and Stamina. These are the hidden stats that vary per Pokémon.
- Enter Level: Input the Pokémon’s current level (1–40). Use the in-game power-up arc or an app to determine this.
- Calculate: Click the Calculate CP button. The result will appear below with the CP value and formula reference.
- Check Validation: If any field is invalid (e.g., IV > 15), the input will highlight in red. Correct it and recalculate.
Note: All values must be numbers. Base stats are species-specific (e.g., Mewtwo has 300 Attack). IVs are 0–15. Level is 1–40. The calculator uses the standard CP formula with a built-in CP multiplier table.

Frequently Asked Questions
CP stands for Combat Power, a measure of how strong a Pokémon is in battles.
CP is calculated using the formula: CP = (Attack * sqrt(Defense) * sqrt(Stamina) * (CPM)^2) / 10, where Attack, Defense, and Stamina include base stats and IVs, and CPM depends on level.
IVs (Individual Values) are hidden stats ranging from 0 to 15 that add to a Pokémon's base stats.
