Select the dimension you know the coordinates for (Overworld or Nether), then enter the X, Y, Z coordinates. Click 'Calculate' to get the corresponding coordinates in the other dimension.
One block in the Nether equals eight blocks in the Overworld. So Overworld coordinates are divided by 8 to get Nether coordinates, and Nether coordinates are multiplied by 8 to get Overworld coordinates.
The Y coordinate (vertical) is the same in both dimensions because the conversion only applies to horizontal (X and Z) coordinates.
Ensure the calculated coordinates are within a loaded chunk and that you build the portal at the exact coordinates. Also check that no other portal is nearby.
