- Select Grade: Choose the letter grade (A, A-, B+, etc.) from the dropdown. Each grade has a fixed numeric value (e.g., A = 4.0, B = 3.0).
- Add or Remove Courses: Click Add Course to include more rows (up to 10). Use the trash icon to remove a row—at least one course is required.
- Calculate: Click Calculate GPA. Your GPA appears as a number (e.g., 3.45). Below it, you’ll see the formula breakdown: total grade points divided by total credits.
- Check Errors: If you see a red error message, ensure all credit fields are filled with positive numbers and you have at least one course.
Note: This calculator uses the standard FSU 4.0 scale. Credits can be half (0.5) values. The result is rounded to two decimal places.
