How to Use the AP Psych Score Calculator
This tool estimates your AP Psychology score based on the official scoring formula. Follow these steps:
- Enter Multiple Choice Correct – Input the number of questions you answered correctly (0–100).
- Enter Multiple Choice Incorrect – Input the number you got wrong (0–100). Note: correct + incorrect cannot exceed 100.
- Enter Free-Response Question 1 Score – Your score for FRQ 1, from 0 to 7.
- Enter Free-Response Question 2 Score – Your score for FRQ 2, also from 0 to 7.
- Click "Calculate AP Score" – The button will compute your results.
What you get:
- AP Score – A final score from 1 to 5 (5 = highest).
- Score Breakdown – Shows raw MC score (correct minus 0.25 per wrong), weighted MC (×1.14), total FRQ, weighted FRQ (×3.57), and composite score.
