How to Use the CGPA Online Calculator
- Add Courses: Click Add Course to include a new row. Each row represents one course.
- Enter Details:
- Course Name (optional): Type the course title.
- Grade: Select your letter grade from the dropdown (e.g., A, B+, C). Each grade has a fixed point value (A=4.0, A-=3.7, etc.).
- Credits: Enter the credit hours for the course (e.g., 3, 4, 1.5). Use numbers only, with half-credits allowed (e.g., 0.5).
- Remove a Course: Click the trash icon next to any row to delete it.
- Calculate CGPA: Click Calculate CGPA. The result shows:
- Your CGPA (weighted average of all grades).
- Total Credits (sum of all entered credit hours).
- Clear All: Click Clear All to reset the calculator and start over.
Formula: CGPA = Σ (Grade Points × Credits) ÷ Σ Credits
Note: All credits must be positive numbers. If any credit is missing or invalid, an error message will appear.
