How to Use the Time Off Calculator

  1. Enter your work days per year (default: 260 for a typical 5-day workweek). Adjust if you work fewer or more days.
  2. Input your time off categories:
    • Vacation Days – e.g., 10 days per year
    • Public Holidays – e.g., 8 federal holidays
    • Personal Days – e.g., 3 personal days
    • Sick Days – e.g., 5 sick days
  3. Click Calculate to see your results.

Results show:

  • Total Time Off – sum of all days off (vacation + holidays + personal + sick)
  • Percentage of Work Days – (Total Time Off ÷ Work Days) × 100
  • Remaining Work Days – work days minus total time off

Note: All values must be non-negative, and total time off cannot exceed work days. The calculator auto-updates if you change inputs after the first calculation.
