This calculator helps you determine the number of tiles needed for a rectangular area, including waste, and the total cost.
- Enter area dimensions – Input the Length and Width of the space in feet.
- Enter tile dimensions – Input the Tile Length and Tile Width in inches.
- Set waste factor – Enter a Waste Factor (%) (default is 10%) to account for cuts and breakage.
- Optional: Add price – Enter the Price per Tile in dollars to see the total cost.
- Calculate – Click the Calculate button. The result shows the number of tiles needed (rounded up) and a detailed breakdown including area, exact tiles, waste, and total cost.
