How to Use the Quikrete Bags Calculator
- Enter dimensions in feet for Length and Width, and inches for Depth. All values must be positive numbers.
- Select your bag size from the dropdown: 40 lb (0.30 cu ft), 60 lb (0.45 cu ft), or 80 lb (0.60 cu ft). The default is 60 lb.

- Read the output: The calculator shows the total number of bags needed (rounded up) and the total volume in cubic feet. The formula used is displayed below the result.
Note: All inputs are in imperial units (feet and inches). The calculator automatically converts depth from inches to feet.

Enter the length and width of the area in feet, the depth in inches, and select the bag size. The calculator uses the formula: Volume (cu ft) = Length × Width × Depth/12, then divides by the bag volume (0.30 for 40lb, 0.45 for 60lb, 0.60 for 80lb) and rounds up.
