How to use this tool?

Follow these steps to estimate your puppy’s adult weight:

  1. Select breed size – Choose the category that best matches your puppy’s breed (Toy, Small, Medium, Large, or Giant).
  2. Enter current age – Input your puppy’s age in weeks (1–52). Use decimals for partial weeks (e.g., 10.5).
  3. Enter current weight – Input your puppy’s weight in pounds (lbs). Use decimals for precision (e.g., 5.2).
  4. Click “Calculate Adult Weight” – The estimated adult weight will appear below, along with a typical weight range for the breed size.

Note: This calculator uses imperial units (pounds and weeks). The formula varies by breed size: Toy/Small use 52 weeks, Medium/Large use 40 weeks, and Giant use 30 weeks as the growth period. Results are estimates; actual adult weight may differ.
