How to Use the Paver Calculator
This calculator estimates the number of pavers needed for a rectangular area. All measurements use feet for area and inches for paver dimensions.
- Enter Area Dimensions (ft): Input the Length and Width of the area to be paved in feet.
- Enter Paver Dimensions (in): Input the Paver Length and Paver Width in inches.
- Set Waste Percentage: Enter a waste factor (default 5%) to account for cuts and breakage.
- Calculate: Click Calculate Pavers. The result shows:
- Total Pavers Needed (rounded up)
- Area in square feet
- Paver Area in square feet
- Waste Added in number of pavers
Formula: (Area length × width) / (paver length × paver width) × (1 + waste/100). All dimensions converted to feet.
