How to use this tool?
The Minute Calculator helps you calculate the duration between two times or add/subtract minutes from a base time.
- Select a mode by clicking either "Duration Between" or "Add/Subtract Minutes".
- Enter the required times:
- In Duration Between mode: provide a Start Time and an End Time (both in 24-hour format, e.g., 08:00 and 17:00). The end time must be later than the start time.
- In Add/Subtract Minutes mode: enter a Base Time and the Minutes to Add/Subtract (use a positive number to add, negative to subtract).
- Click the "Calculate" button to see the result.
- Read the result displayed in the green box:
- In Duration Between mode: the result shows the total minutes (and hours/minutes breakdown).
- In Add/Subtract Minutes mode: the result shows the new time in 24-hour format.
- Review the formula breakdown below the result to understand the calculation steps.
