How to Use the Hour Calculator
This calculator adds up total hours across multiple time intervals. It supports both 24-hour and 12-hour (AM/PM) formats.
- Choose your time format at the top: 24-hour (e.g., 14:30) or 12-hour (e.g., 2:30 PM).
- Enter start and end times for each interval. Use the format shown in the placeholder (HH:MM for 24-hour, HH:MM AM/PM for 12-hour).
- Add more intervals by clicking the "Add Interval" button. Remove any interval using the trash icon.
- Click "Calculate Total Hours" to see the result. The total duration appears in hours and minutes, with a breakdown in total minutes and decimal hours.
Note: If an end time is earlier than the start time, the calculator assumes it crosses midnight (adds 24 hours). All times must be valid and correctly formatted.
