The average rating is calculated as the weighted average: (5 × number of 5-star reviews + 4 × number of 4-star reviews + 3 × number of 3-star reviews + 2 × number of 2-star reviews + 1 × number of 1-star reviews) divided by the total number of reviews.
No, the number of reviews must be whole numbers (integers). Decimal values will be treated as invalid.
If the total number of reviews is zero, the calculator will show an error message because division by zero is not possible.
