How to Use the Elden Ring Weapon Calculator
This tool calculates your weapon's Attack Rating (AR) based on base damage, scaling, upgrade level, and your relevant stat.
- Enter Base Damage – The weapon's base damage value (e.g., 100). Must be 0 or higher.
- Select Scaling Grade – Choose from S (best) to E (worst). This affects how much your stat boosts damage.
- Set Upgrade Level – A number from 0 to 25. Higher levels multiply base damage.
- Input Your Stat – Your relevant attribute (e.g., Strength) between 0 and 99.
- Click "Calculate AR" – The result shows total AR and the formula used.
Note: All inputs must be valid numbers within their ranges. Invalid entries show red feedback.

Frequently Asked Questions
AR = Base Damage × Upgrade Multiplier × (1 + Stat × Scaling Modifier × 0.01). The scaling modifier depends on the letter grade (S=1.5, A=1.2, B=1.0, C=0.8, D=0.6, E=0.4). Upgrade multipliers range from 1.0 at level 0 to 2.25 at level 25.
This calculator works for any weapon that scales with a single stat. For weapons with split scaling (e.g., both Strength and Dexterity), you would need to calculate each stat's contribution separately.
No, this calculator only computes physical or elemental Attack Rating. Status effects like bleed or frost are not included.
