Frequently Asked Questions
RER stands for Resting Energy Requirement, the number of calories a dog needs at rest. It is calculated as 70 * (weight in kg)^0.75.
Sedentary: mostly indoors with minimal exercise. Moderate: daily walks. Active: high exercise or play. Very Active: working dogs or intense activity.
Neutered/spayed dogs often have a 10% lower calorie requirement due to metabolic changes.
