Cribbage Calculator

This calculator scores a standard 4-card cribbage hand plus the cut card. Follow these steps:

1. Select your 4 hand cards – Use the dropdowns labeled Card 1 through Card 4. Each dropdown contains all 13 ranks (A–K) in a specific suit (♣, ♦, ♥, ♠). Choose one card per slot.
2. Select the cut card – Use the Cut Card dropdown. This is the 5th card turned up from the deck. It can be any suit and rank.
3. Click “Calculate Score” – The button submits the form. If any card is missing or duplicates are detected, an error message appears.
4. Read the results – The total score appears in large text. Below it, a breakdown shows points for:
   • Fifteens – 2 points per combination of cards summing to 15 (A=1, J/Q/K=10).
   • Pairs – 2 points per pair of matching ranks.
   • Runs – Points for consecutive sequences of 3, 4, or 5 cards (multiplied by duplicates).
   • Flush – 4 points if all 4 hand cards share the same suit (the cut card is not counted for a flush).
   • Nobs – 1 point if a Jack in your hand matches the cut card’s suit.

Note: All cards must be unique (no duplicates across hand and cut). The calculator uses standard cribbage scoring rules. No special formats needed—just pick from the lists.
