How to Use the Court Calendar Calculator
This tool calculates a future date by adding a specified number of days to a start date, following one of three counting rules. Follow these steps:
- Set the Start Date: Click the date input and choose a start date (format: yyyy-mm-dd).
- Enter Number of Days: Type a positive integer (e.g., 30) for the days to add.
- Select a Counting Rule:
- Calendar Days: Counts all consecutive days (including weekends and holidays).
- Business Days: Excludes weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and any holidays you list.
- Court Days: Same as business days (excludes weekends and holidays).
- Add Holidays (Optional): In the text area, enter dates to exclude (one per line, format yyyy-mm-dd). Leave blank if none.
- Calculate: Click the Calculate button. The result date appears below, along with a summary of the calculation.
Note: All dates must be in yyyy-mm-dd format (e.g., 2024-12-25). The calculator validates inputs and shows errors if invalid.
