How to Use the Concrete Pad Cost Calculator
This calculator estimates the total cost for a concrete pad based on dimensions, material rates, and optional extras. All inputs are in imperial units (feet, inches, dollars).
- Enter pad dimensions – Provide Length (ft), Width (ft), and Thickness (in). All must be positive numbers.
- Set concrete cost – Input the cost per cubic yard ($ per yd³).
- Add labor details – Enter the Labor Rate ($/hr) and Labor Hours required.
- Include optional costs – Fill in Rebar Cost, Gravel Base Cost, and Other Costs as needed (leave blank if zero).
- Calculate – Click the Calculate button or press Enter on any input field.
Results show: total cost, concrete volume (yd³), and a full breakdown of concrete, labor, rebar, gravel, and other costs. The formula used is displayed below the results.
All required fields must be filled with positive numbers. Invalid entries will show a red error border.

Frequently Asked Questions
Multiply the length (ft) by width (ft) by thickness (in) divided by 12 to get cubic feet, then divide by 27 to get cubic yards.
The estimate includes concrete material cost (based on volume and price per cubic yard), labor cost (based on hourly rate and hours), rebar cost, gravel base cost, and any other costs you enter.
This calculator assumes a rectangular pad. For irregular shapes, you may need to break the area into rectangles and sum the volumes.
