How to use this tool?
This calculator determines the positions of the Sun, Moon, planets, Ascendant, and Midheaven in the zodiac signs for a given birth date, time, and location. It uses simplified astronomical algorithms for educational purposes.
- Enter Birth Date: Use the date picker to select the birth date.
- Enter Birth Time: Use the time picker to enter the exact birth time (defaults to 12:00 PM).
- Enter Latitude: Input the latitude in decimal degrees. Use negative values for the Southern Hemisphere (e.g., -33.8688 for Sydney). Must be between -90 and 90.
- Enter Longitude: Input the longitude in decimal degrees. Use negative values for West (e.g., -74.0060 for New York). Must be between -180 and 180.
- Calculate: Click the "Calculate Birth Chart" button.
Results: The output shows each celestial body's zodiac sign and degree (0-29.99°). The Ascendant (rising sign) and Midheaven (MC) are also calculated based on your location and time.
