The composite score is calculated as: Multiple-choice raw score (correct × 1.2, incorrect × -0.25) plus free-response total (sum of three FRQ scores out of 15 each). The composite is then mapped to an AP score (1-5) using approximate cutoffs.

The calculator will show an error. The total number of multiple-choice questions is 35, so the sum of correct and incorrect cannot exceed that.
