How to Use the AP Biology Score Calculator
- Enter Multiple Choice Scores – Input the number of correct answers (0–60) and the number of incorrect answers (0–60) in the respective fields. Do not count blank questions as incorrect.
- Enter Free Response Scores – For each of the six free-response questions (Q1–Q6), enter the score you received. Q1 and Q2 are long questions (0–10), while Q3–Q6 are short questions (0–4). You can use increments of 0.25 (e.g., 7.5).
- Click "Calculate Score" – The calculator will compute your raw score (Multiple Choice correct × 1 + total Free Response points) and map it to an AP score (1–5) with a description.

The AP Biology exam raw score is the sum of your multiple-choice correct answers (each worth 1 point) and your free-response scores (out of 10 for long questions and 4 for short questions).
