- Enter Number of Guests – Total adult guests attending the reception (minimum 1).
- Set Reception Duration (hours) – How long the bar will be open (e.g., 5 hours). Use decimals for half-hours (e.g., 4.5).
- Adjust Drink Preferences (%) – Enter the percentage of guests who will drink each type:
- Beer Drinkers (%)
- Wine Drinkers (%)
- Cocktail Drinkers (%)
- Select Drinking Intensity – Choose how many drinks per hour guests typically consume:
- Light – 1 drink every 2 hours (factor 0.5)
- Moderate – 1 drink per hour (factor 1, default)
- Heavy – 2 drinks per hour (factor 2)
- Click "Calculate" – The results show:
- Beer – number of 12 oz servings
