How to Use the ABV Calculator
- Enter Original Gravity (OG): Type your starting gravity (e.g., 1.050) in the first field. Must be between 1.000 and 1.200.
- Enter Final Gravity (FG): Type your ending gravity (e.g., 1.010) in the second field. Must be between 0.990 and 1.200.
- Select Formula: Choose either Standard (×131.25) or Alternate (×133) from the dropdown. Standard is most common.
- Calculate: Click the Calculate ABV button. The result shows estimated alcohol by volume (ABV) as a percentage.
- Note: OG must be greater than FG. Invalid entries will show a red error border.
