This calculator estimates the monetary value of a tree based on its species, size, and condition. Follow these steps:
- Select Species: Choose from Oak, Maple, Pine, Birch, or Other. Each has a different base value (e.g., Oak = $50, Other = $25).
- Enter Trunk Diameter (inches): Measure the trunk at breast height (about 4.5 feet up). Input a positive number (e.g., 12).
- Enter Height (feet): Measure the tree’s total height. Input a positive number (e.g., 50).
