How to use this tool?
This calculator has two modes: Duration Between Times and Add/Subtract Time. Use the dropdown to select your mode.
Duration Between Times
- Select Start Time and End Time (24-hour format, e.g., 08:00 and 17:00).
- Click Calculate.
- The result shows the total hours and minutes between the two times (handles overnight).
Add/Subtract Time
- Enter a Base Time (24-hour format).
- Enter the Hours and Minutes to add or subtract.
- Choose Add or Subtract from the Operation dropdown.
- Click Calculate.
- The result shows the new time (wraps around midnight if needed).
Note: All times use 24-hour format (HH:MM). Minutes must be between 0 and 59. Hours must be non-negative.
