- View your birth cards displayed as a list. You may see one or two cards (e.g., "The Magician" and "Wheel of Fortune").
- Read the formula below the cards to see how the sum of your day + month + year was reduced to a number between 1 and 22, which corresponds to a Major Arcana card.
Note: The calculator automatically reduces multi-digit sums (e.g., 1990 → 1+9+9+0 = 19) until the result is between 1 and 22. Special pairs (like 1 and 10, or 4 and 22) are shown together.

Tarot birth cards are two Major Arcana cards derived from your date of birth that represent your core personality and life lessons.
Add the day, month, and year of your birth. Reduce the sum to a number between 1 and 22. That number corresponds to a Major Arcana card. If the number is between 1 and 21, the second card is found by reducing the number further (e.g., 19 becomes 1 and 10). For 22 (The Fool), the second card is 4 (The Emperor).
Typically, only two birth cards are used. Some systems use three, but this calculator follows the common two-card method.
