How to use this tool?
Follow these steps to calculate the value of your silver:
- Enter Weight (oz): Type the weight of your silver in troy ounces (e.g., 10). Must be greater than 0.
- Select Purity (%): Choose a preset (e.g., 99.9% for fine silver) or select "Custom" to enter a specific purity between 0 and 100.
- Enter Spot Price ($/oz): Input the current market price per troy ounce (e.g., 24.50). Must be greater than 0.
- Enter Premium (%) (optional): Add a dealer premium percentage (e.g., 5). Defaults to 0 if left blank.
- Click "Calculate Value": The estimated total value appears below, with a breakdown showing weight, purity, spot price, premium, and the formula used.

The value is calculated using the formula: (Weight × Purity/100) × Spot Price × (1 + Premium/100). This gives the total market value including any dealer premium.
