How to Use the Schoology Grade Calculator
This calculator computes your overall grade based on weighted categories (e.g., Homework, Tests). Follow these steps:
- Add Categories: Click Add Category for each grading category (e.g., Homework, Quizzes).
- Enter Details for each category:
- Category Name: A label (e.g., "Homework").
- Weight (%): The category's weight in your overall grade (e.g., 20 for 20%). All weights must sum to 100% for accuracy.
- Score (%): Your average percentage in that category (e.g., 85 for 85%).
- Remove Categories: Click the trash icon to delete a row (at least one category is required).
- Calculate: Click Calculate Grade to see your overall percentage and letter grade (A-F).
- Review Breakdown: The result shows each category's contribution to your final grade.
Note: All values must be between 0 and 100. Weights can be any positive numbers (they are normalized automatically).
