How to use this tool?
Quickdash Calculator performs basic arithmetic and unit conversions. Follow these steps:
- Enter numbers – Type the first number (required) and second number (required for all operations except unit conversion alone).
- Choose an operation – Select from Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide, or Percentage. For Percentage, the result is first number % of second number.
- Optional unit conversion – Pick a conversion (e.g., Inches → cm, °F → °C). This converts the first number and overrides the arithmetic result.
- Click Calculate – The result appears in green, with the formula shown below. Errors (e.g., division by zero, missing input) display in red.
Tips:
- Use decimal numbers freely (e.g., 2.5).
- For unit conversions, the arithmetic result is replaced by the conversion value.
- If you select a conversion but leave the first number blank, you’ll see an error.
