How to Use the Trade Calculator Dynasty
This tool evaluates a 2-for-2 player trade by comparing a weighted score for each side.
- Enter Player Values (0–100): In Side A (You Give), input values for Player 1 and Player 2. In Side B (You Receive), input values for Player 3 and Player 4. Use whole numbers.
- Enter Projected Points/Week (0–50): Provide the average weekly fantasy points for each side. Use decimals if needed (e.g., 15.5).
- Click "Calculate Trade": The tool validates all inputs and computes a score for each side using the formula: Value Score = (Player1 + Player2) / 2 × 0.7 + Points × 0.3.
- Read the Result: The verdict shows if the trade is fair, slightly favors one side, or heavily favors one side. The difference (Side B score minus Side A score) determines the outcome.
Tip: A positive difference means Side B (you receive) has the advantage. Use the detailed scores to compare the trade’s balance.

Frequently Asked Questions
The score for each side is (average of player values) * 0.7 + projected weekly points * 0.3. The difference determines if the trade is fair or favors one side.
Player values are a subjective rating from 0 to 100 based on dynasty trade value charts. Higher values indicate more valuable players.
A difference of less than 1 point is considered fair. Differences between 1 and 5 indicate a slight advantage, and over 5 indicates a heavy advantage.
