How to Use the CV Calculator
- Enter your CV details in the input fields:
- Work Experience Entries – Number of jobs you’ll list (e.g., 3).
- Education Entries – Number of degrees or qualifications (e.g., 2).
- Skills / Certifications – Number of skills or certificates (e.g., 5).
- Summary / Objective (words) – Approximate word count for your profile summary (e.g., 50).
- Bullet Points per Job – Average number of bullet points per work entry (e.g., 5).
- Words per Bullet Point – Average words per bullet (e.g., 20).
- Click “Calculate CV Metrics” – The button validates inputs and computes results.
- Review the outputs:
- Total Words – Sum of summary + (work × bullets × words per bullet) + (education × 30) + (skills × 10).
- Reading Time (min) – Total words ÷ 200 (average reading speed).
- Estimated Pages – Total words ÷ 500 (standard page length).
