How to Use the CFB Send the House Calculator
- Confidence Level (0–100%): Enter your personal confidence in the bet (e.g., 85 for 85%). This is your estimated probability of winning.
- Odds (American): Enter the betting odds in American format (e.g., -110 or +150). Do not use 0.
- Bankroll ($): Enter your total betting bankroll in dollars (e.g., 1000).
- Kelly Fraction: Default is 0.25 (25%) for conservative betting. Adjust as desired (0 to 1).
- Click Calculate. The result will show one of three outcomes:
- Send the house! – Bet more than 50% of your bankroll is recommended.
- Bet, but not the house. – A smaller bet is advised.
- Do not bet. – Negative expected value; no bet recommended.
Tip: Use American odds only (e.g., -110, +200). The calculator converts them to decimal odds internally. All inputs are required except Kelly Fraction (defaults to 0.25).
