- A letter grade (A+ to E) based on ASU’s standard scale.
- A brief calculation summary.
Tips:
- All scores must be between 0 and 100. Weights must be between 0 and 100.
- If the total weight is not exactly 100%, you’ll see an error message—adjust accordingly.
- Use the "Score" and "Weight" fields for each component; leave no field empty.

Frequently Asked Questions
You enter the number of graded components (like homework, exams), their names, your scores (0-100), and their weights (percentages). The calculator computes the weighted average and converts it to a letter grade using the ASU scale.
ASU uses a standard 4.0 scale: A+ (97-100), A (93-96), A- (90-92), B+ (87-89), B (83-86), B- (80-82), C+ (77-79), C (73-76), C- (70-72), D+ (67-69), D (63-66), D- (60-62), E (below 60).
The calculator requires total weights to be 100% (with a tolerance of 1%). If not, it will show an error message. Adjust your weights accordingly.
